A magnetic knife holder designed to keep everyday knives visible, within reach, and off the countertop. Made from solid American black walnut, the 12-inch Arch provides seven concealed magnet positions without exposing hardware on the face.

Each holder is milled from a single, carefully selected walnut board. The gentle arch adds presence while the tapered spline details and chamfered profile give the design its restrained, recognizable character.

The magnets are pocketed from the rear and sealed beneath a fitted walnut plug. Two rear keyhole slots spaced 10 inches apart provide concealed wall mounting. Drywall anchors are included for installations where wall studs do not align with both mounting points.

Finished with a hardwax oil that protects the walnut while preserving its grain, color, and natural feel. Made one at a time in Downers Grove, Illinois. Free shipping.

Each 12-inch knife holder includes two mounting screws and two drywall anchors sized for the rear keyhole slots.

The keyhole slots are spaced 10 inches apart and will not normally align with two studs on standard 16-inch centers. When possible, install one screw into a wall stud and use an included anchor for the other mounting point. Where no stud is available, use both included anchors for standard drywall. Other wall materials may require appropriate fasteners selected for that surface.

Before adding knives, confirm that the holder is fully seated on both screws and securely attached to the wall.

Remove all knives before cleaning. Wipe the holder with a soft, dry cloth; for fingerprints or residue, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry the surface completely.

Do not soak or submerge the holder, and avoid abrasive pads, ammonia, bleach, vinegar, or other harsh household cleaners.

Because this is a low-wear, wall-mounted piece, routine re-oiling should not normally be necessary. If the walnut begins to look dull or dry, contact Trail’s Edge Woodworks for maintenance guidance before applying another finish.
